‘Samsara’ in Germany and ‘ATMA’ in Bulgaria

The new season is in full effect and we are getting ready for a double performance this weekend! First in line is a performance of Samadhi’s latest production ‘Samsara’ which will be performed this Saturday Sept 16 at 21:00hr at the Enrich Yourself – Enrich The World congress near Berlin, Germany. For this occasion ‘Samsara’ will be performed by Samadhi’s principal dancers Ilaria Angelicchio and Annlydie Groenen, carried out to tracks by Joep Beving, Charcoal, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Nitin Sawhney, Camille, Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds and Luke Howard. The music tracks are mixed with narrations written and spoken by Samadhi’s choreographer Vraja Sundari Keilman, expressing an inner dialogue on the experience of the self, human relations, (dis)connection and the ongoing search to purpose and meaning.
Besides a performance of ‘Samsara’, the following day sisters Vraja Sundari and Sarada Sarita Keilman will be performing 3 powerful scenes from Samadhi’s production ‘ATMA‘ this Sunday Sept 17 at the Ратха Ятра 2017 – фестивал с колесница Sofia 2017 festival in beautiful Bulgaria. ‘ATMA’ is a contemporary dance performance based on the Mahabharata-themed music album ‘Inevitable Time’ by the Russian singer Ananda Monet.
In ‘ATMA’ some of the timeless heroes from this epic story from ancient India are portrayed in a contemporary manner, bringing the essence of these legendary stories to the here and now.  The sisters will portray scenes from the stories of  Queen Kunti, Queen Draupadi and the Universal Form. The stage program will commence at 17:30hr and the first performance will take place at 18:10hr. The following two dances will be performed at 19:30hr and 20:25hr and the program will close at 21:00hr.
