Blue Boy – Awakening the Heart
The title Blue Boy has several meanings within the piece: it can be interpreted as the bright moon in a dark blue sky and how it shines over us and accompanies us during long and lonely nights. The title can also be interpreted as the dark blue Hindu God of Love, Krsna. Krsna is mostly known for His blue appearance as a cowherd’s boy or as a young blue God playing His flute. Finally the title also refers to a young man or boy feeling blue, seeking comfort in the silent presence of the night.
