This Sunday November 27 Samadhi will be back in London to perform exclusive versions of both ‘Pavan’ and ‘ATMA’ feat. the fabulous Russian singer Ananda Monet!
The full program will include drama, kirtan, special talks, prasadam feast and more, celebrating the 47th Anniversary of the installation of Sri Sri Radha-Londonisvara. The stage program is scheduled to start at 3 pm till 7:30 pm at Logan Hall in the heart of London.
Samadhi will perform a 25 min excerpt of ‘Pavan’ and another 20 min excerpt of the Mahabharata-based production titled ‘ATMA’ featuring Ananda Monet. ‘Pavan’ is a heartfelt modern dance piece and includes recorded tracks by a.o. George Harrison, Joep Beving and Luke Howard, combined with recorded bhajans and lectures of a.o. Srila Prabhupada, Malati Devi Dasi and Radhanath Swami. ‘ATMA’ – based on the music album ‘Inevitable Time’ by Ananda Monet – portrays dynamical choreography’s and musical compositions inspired by the epic stories of the Mahabharata characters Arjuna, Krishna and Draupadi. Both performances will be danced by our Samadhi ‘All-Stars’ Sarada Sarita Keilman, Annlydie Groenen, Jeffrey Stuut and Vraja Sundari Keilman, carried out to live vocals by Samadhi’s favourite female singer Ananda Monet.
