Big Draw Festival at the Rijksmuseum

Enjoy this selection of photos of the live music and dance sessions previous weekend during the Big Draw Festival 2017 at the prestigious ‘Voorhal’ of Amsterdam’s famous Rijksmuseum. This one of a kind project was under the direction of artist Feri de Geus of Le Grand Cru intercultural dance company and held on October 7 and 8 from the morning till late afternoon. The stunning group of performers included leading dancers Heather Ware, Suzan Tunca, Benoît Couchot, Renato Bertolino, Shusaku Takeuchi and Kenzo Kusuda accompanied by cellist Camillo Cabassi. Appr. 1500  drawings were created during these live dance and model sessions from which many works were truly impressive. It was an incredible experiences of which we can only hope to repeat one day! Many thanks to artistic directors of Le Grand Cru Feri de Geus and Noortje Bijvoets for the deeply inspiring experience and support and to the Rijksmuseum for this wonderful initiative and beautiful photography.
